Cuvier drilling two properties

Diamond drillng contracts have been awarded by Cuvier Mines for projects in Newfoundland and Labrador. On the Baie Verte peninsula in Newfoundland, Cuvier plans to drill 5,000 ft on the company’s Ming’s Bight West property. The program will test a gold anomaly outlined by geochemical and geophysical surveys. Gold values were assayed in random grab samples, the company says.

At the Winter Lake project in northern Labrador, Cuvier plans to complete a 2,600-ft drill program. This work will follow up a surface exploration program which yielded chip samples assaying up to 250 oz silver per ton across a 2-ft width.
