Cusac puts meat on Table Mountain

Junior gold producer Cusac Gold Mines (CQC-T) has beefed up reserves at its Table Mountain gold mine in north-central British Columbia.

Drilling on the surface of the previously mined Vollaug vein, Cusac intersected significant values in nine holes, ranging from from 5.3 ft.

grading 0.24 oz. to 7.6 ft. of 2.66 oz.

The vein is estimated to contain a proven, probable and possible reserve of 43,394 tons grading 0.45 oz. gold per ton, raising total reserves at Table Mountain to 144,535 tons grading 0.37 oz. Additional underground drilling is under way.

Situated near Cassiar, the mine, had, to the end of August, cranked out 15,725 oz. at a cash cost of US$217 per oz.
