Airborne and other exploration-related services for mining companies active in Cuba will be carried out by Scintrex of Concord, Ont., under a joint-venture agreement with Geominera, a Cuban government-owned company.
Scintrex says its earth sciences division has received initial orders and contracts worth more than $500,000 from two Canadian juniors. The company plans to open an office in the Caribbean island country.
