Correction Tax Angles

In the Tax Angles column by John Playfair and Barry Dent in the Dec 15 issue, it was incorrectly stated that, should a bill tabled in the House of Commons be passed, the alternative minimum tax (AMT) referred to in the first paragraph of the story, would become effective as of Jan 1, 1987. That should have read Jan 1, 1986. The Northern Miner regrets the error.
