Correction (December 18, 2000)

In our Dec. 4-10 issue, we incorrectly stated that Niocan (NIO-T) has a right of first refusal on Teck‘s (TEK-T) option to acquire a 25% interest in Niocan‘s (NIO-T) Oka niobium project in Quebec. The option agreement requires Niocan’s consent before Teck can transfer its option to a third party. Niocan says no consent will be given “until the most favourable outcome for Niocan and its shareholders is achieved.”
