Correction (July 31, 1989)

Contrary to what appeared in our July 24/89 issue, the Ski 4 claim of Calpine Resources (VSE) and Consolidated Stikine Silver (VSE) has not been cancelled. The claim is held under option from ARC Resource Group. A government inspection report simply recommended the claim be cancelled, but that ruling is subject to appeal and is being vigorously contested. Also, the claim was not staked by ARC but rather by a prospector who sold the claim to the company. The Northern Miner regrets the error.
