Contrary to what was reported in the July 20 issue of The Northern Miner, Royal Gold (NASDAQ) was never a minority partner in the Cortez joint venture currently exploring the Pipeline gold deposit in Nevada. Royal Gold formed a joint venture with the Cortez joint venture to explore for gold on certain lands to the south of the Pipeline deposit.
