The letter to the editor titled “Rooting for Bern Brynelsen” (T.N.M., Nov. 16/92), regarding Bern Brynelsen and his Canadian Mining Hall of Fame nomination, stated in the lead paragraph that Brynelsen did not play a role in the discovery and development of the Brenda Mines, Bell Copper and Boss Mountain operations.
The writer of the letter, David Lowrie, now says Brynelsen should, in fact, be credited with the discovery and development of Brenda Mines in British Columbia, but not the other two mining operations.
