Alberta-listed Gowest Amalgamated Resources has received a letter of intent from Placer Dome (TSE) for an option agreement on the former’s McAlpine Lake property, west of Placer Dome’s Detour Lake mine in northern Ontario. Gowest is still considering the proposal.
