A trio of companies, including
Dubbed Humboldt Springs, the 12-sq.-km property was recently staked on the basis of preliminary geophysical and geochemical surveying. This marks the joint venture’s fifth acquisition in the Silver State.
The group is targeting a valley measuring 6,000 ft. long by 1,500 ft. wide and which carries anomalous gold and silver in the alluvial, lacustrine and volcanic fill. The sedimentary cover is 200-900 ft. thick, below which is believed to sit a basement horst structure.
Geophysical and geochemical studies continue, in preparation for reverse-circulation drilling. So far, no drilling has been carried out.
