Junior CopperQuest (CDN) has finished drilling two Ontario properties and plans to carry out work in Saskatch-ewan as well.
In Kidd Twp., north of Timmins, CopperQuest and joint-venture partner Regal Goldfields (CDN) hit a 50-ft. brecciated section with sulphides. Mineralization with anomalous copper and zinc values was intersected over 21 ft. The best results were 3.1% copper and 4% zinc; no widths were given. In Munro Twp., north of Kirkland Lake, CopperQuest drilled six holes, two of which intersected low-grade gold mineralization. The first intersected 57 ft. of mineralization while the second hit 120 ft. of pyrite and arsenopyrite within an altered shear zone.
CopperQuest is also planning to explore for diamonds on its property near Forte a la Corne, Sask.
