Copper-zinc-gold values keep Rock & Roll hopping

Partners Thios Resources (VSE) and Eurus Resource (VSE) are reporting the discovery of a new massive sulphide zone on their Rock & Roll property in the Iskut River region of northern British Columbia. The best hole of several drilled on the SRV zone returned 19.7 ft. grading 0.032 oz. gold, 5.76 oz. silver, 0.59% lead, 2.56% zinc and 0.63% copper.

The SRV zone was discovered during the course of drilling the primary target on the property, the Black Dog zone. It is about 164-196 ft. stratigraphically beneath and subparallel to the Black Dog zone.

So far, the new zone has been traced by drilling over a 328-ft. strike length, and remains open to the southeast.

Results were also released from holes drilled on the Black Dog zone, with the intersections ranging from 3.3-22.9 ft. So far the zone has been traced on the ground over a minimum 8,200-ft. length on to the adjacent Bornagain property controlled by Eurus, Thios and Consolidated Bel-Air Resources (VSE).

The better results include: 22.9 ft. grading 0.049 oz. gold, 7.91 oz. silver, 0.64% lead, 2.50% zinc and 0.64% copper; 21.3 ft. of 0.104 oz. gold, 15.22 oz. silver, 0.86% lead, 2.73% zinc and 0.50% copper; 16.4 ft. of 0.43 oz. gold, 6.18 oz. silver, 0.58% lead, 1.62% zinc and 0.33% copper; and 14.8 ft. of 0.087 oz. gold, 12.42 oz. silver, 0.95% lead, 3.28% zinc and 0.53% copper.

Preparations are under way for the construction of an 80-person exploration camp on the Rock & Roll property. The camp, expected to be operational in May, will also be used as a base camp for exploration programs managed by Prime Explorations on other properties in northwestern British Columbia.
