Copper Council holds seminar

The American Copper Council (ACC), based in New York City, is offering a foreign trade seminar for executives involved with the copper industry at its June meeting in Quebec City. The 2-day seminar will be held at Loews Le Concorde Hotel on June 19-21 and will feature a seminar entitled “A businessman’s guide to foreign trade.” A tour of Canada Wire’s power cable plant in Quebec City is also included.

Session topics are as follows: how commercial attaches can help you; why you need a customs broker; tricks of the trade in foreign dealings; countertrade and your business; basics of currency exchange and protecting your assets from adverse fluctuations; arbitrage and its place in the buying equation.
