Drilling is scheduled to begin in August at Consort Energy’s West claim group near Echo Bay’s Lupin mine in the Northwest Territories. Surface gold values averaging 0.29 oz and 0.48 oz gold have been found on the property over the nose of a folded iron formation.
The company has budgeted $300,000 for the program which will include a horizontal loop geophysical survey prior to drilling.
