Drilling by Conquest Yellowknife Resources on a property near the Renabie mine, has confirmed the presence of the Renabie shear zone on the claims. Located northeast of Wawa, Ont., the property adjoins the producing Renabie gold mine.
Some of the better intersections from the shear zone include 6 ft grading 2.25 oz gold per ton and 13 ft assaying 0.239 oz. Another 9-ft hole assayed 0.2 oz. The drill program tested the projected intersection of the north striking Renabie shear with an east-west shear. A similar shear configuration at the Renabie mine, 3,000 ft to the south, hosts most of that mine’s ore.
