A geophysical survey completed for Vancouver-listed partners Golden Trump Resources and Noront Resources has outlined three conductors on the Okak Bay 2381 property, 80 km north of Voisey’s Bay, Labrador.
Two conductors, called Zone 1A and Zone 1B, are on the property’s northern boundary and strike in a north-south direction. Each has an indicated strike length of 500 metres and are 300 metres apart. The two zones exhibit strong electromagnetic responses consistent with massive sulphide deposits, which generally correlate with, or are situated close to, a geological contact on the property.
In addition, a third significant conductor, Zone 2, has been found on the southern claim boundary. It is also thought to represent sulphide mineralization, and possibly platinum group element mineralization.
Linecutting and ground geophysical surveys are planned, which will attempt to establish the location of the conductors on the ground and set priorities for drilling.
