A 22-metre intercept from hole CTD-111, part of a drilling program at the Cerattepe property in Artvin province in northeastern Turkey, assayed 3% copper, Cominco Resources International (TSE) announced.
Massive sulphides were intersected between 153 metres and 175 metres below surface, the company says. An 8-metre section averaged 4% copper, it says. Typical stringer-zone mineralization, visually estimated to grade about 1% copper, occurs in the footwall rocks over a thickness of 50 metres below the massive sulphides, the company says, adding that assays for this section are not yet available.
