The Glenbrook nickel smelter is in Riddle, Ore. It will now be owned jointly by Cominco American and Cominco Resources International (TSE), a 60.9% subsidiary of Cominco Ltd.
Glenbrook is the only nickel smelter in operation in the U.S. It is expected to reach full production by the first quarter of 1990.
