Colorado evaluates land tracts

The Colorado Geological Survey (CGS) has released two reports which evaluate the resource potential of more than 4 million acres administered by the State Land Board.

The land is in Kiowa and Cheyenne counties, 120 miles southeast of Denver.

A summary of the geology and mineral potential of each county is included in the reports, along with maps, and results from oil and gas tests.

The CD-ROM documents are the first in a series and are available from the CGS for US$15 plus shipping. To order copies, call (303) 866-2611.
