Possible reserves of 1.5 million tonnes chromite grading 4.5% CR(2)O(3) have been announced by Coleraine Exploration (ME) for its Coleraine property near Thetford Mines, Que.
A $750,000 exploration program is under way at the property, the work to include stripping and mapping and a pre-feasibility study.
The company, which changed its name from Rambo Exploration, reports the presence of 11 unexplored deposits of chromite mineralization on the same property.
