Cobalt clean-up

The Ontario government is providing funds to help complete rehabilitation work on silver mine workings in Cobalt, Ont., where cave-ins have created hazards.

The funds, provided by the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, will pay for the removal of foundations and construction of chain link fences and signs indicating hazardous locations. The cave-ins were caused by old crown pillars giving way.
