COATS Trading Features (June 22, 1987)

No real performers stood out on the coats system this week. Edda Resources, which is getting into platinum exploration via a private affiliate, was steady at 75 cents . The private company has acquired a sizeable land position in northern Manitoba near the Namew Lake nickel deposit controlled by Hudson Bay Mining.

Frankfield Explorations continued to turn over some healthy volume, as more than 100,000 shares traded hands. The issue was firm at 20 cents -24 cents . The company holds a 36% interest in a gold showing north of Timmins, Ont. Last year partner Intex Mining talked of an underground program which has yet to start.

Goldteck Mines was also an active trader which saw volume of 234,000 shares for the week, However, the share price remained unchanged at $2.10. Goldteck is taking another look at the old Stairs prospect near Matachewan, Ont. Regal Goldfields, which holds a major interest in Goldteck, was also unchanged at $1.05.
