COATS Trading Features (March 27, 1989)

Regal Goldfields recently acquired two base metal properties in the Lac St. Jean area and saw active trading at $1.12 – $1.25 this week.

Pinetree Explorations and Caviar Resources have reported some significant gold assays from recent drilling on property near the Golden Patricia mine in the Wright Lake area northwestern Ontario. Pinetree was steady at 22 cents .

MacDonald Mines saw moderate trading activity in the 50 cents -65 cents range. High zinc prices could spur the reopening of a northern Quebec zinc mine in which MacDonald holds a 49% interest.

Goldstake moved slighly lower to trade at 95 cents -$1.20 this week. The company’s main gold-silver properties are located in the western United States.
