Louvicourt Goldfields was weaker this week, trading at 63 cents -68 cents . Last week, the issue was up to 80 cents on news that Ronrico Explorations plans to reopen Louvicourt’s shutdown mine property in Quebec. Considerable exploration potential remains at depth in this former producer.
Boston Bay Mines and Belleterre Quebec Mines were both unchanged on news that Madeleine Mines was hit with a $4.5 million lawsuit by a promotor of the company. Boston Bay holds a 90% interest in the Lac des Iles platinum group metals deposit north of Thunder Bay, Ont. Belleterre is a 39.7% controlling shareholder of Boston. Madeleine is attempting to develop a platinum mine on the property. Boston was quiet at $8 while Belleterre traded at $1.05- $1.15.
New Bidlamaque Gold Mines perked up this week, trading at 23 cents -28 cents . The company holds a property which ties on to Belmoral Mines’ property in Quebec.
