Good volume was the characteristic of Frankfield Exoplorations this week, which helped move the issue to 48 cents . New interests are moving into the picture with new financing and a new property. It is also understood that the company will be seeking a stock exchange listing. Before the major changes, the company’s only real asset was a 36% interest in a gold prospect north of Timmins, Ont., on which little work has been performed during the past two years.
Card Lake Resources was steady at 65 cents . That, however, is still way off its high of $2.50 reached last June when drilling was in progress on its Harker-Holloway, Ont., gold property. A 15,666-ft drill program has cut numerous sections of anomalous gold in multiple zones. A Card Lake geologist notes that a dominant trend has been outlined which will require additional work.
Hillsborough Resources continued at $2.25 on news that an option agreement has been signed. The company has the right to earn a 55% interest in a B.C. gold prospect.
