COATS Trading Features (November 02, 1987)

Tyranex Gold showed some spirit, trading to $1 in this week’s generally poor market. The company has optioned its gold property near Shiningtree, Ont., to Gunnar Gold and Mill City Resources, two tse- listed juniors. Results from a drill program appear encouraging.

Reactivated Exxeter Resources was also active, trading more than 130,000 shares during the week to a high of $1.20. Although the company owns a marginal gold play in Quebec, it appears to be focusing its sights on gold plays in the U.S. Card Lake Resources also recovered some ground getting up to 60 cents on 37,000 shares. The company is assessing results from a drill program from its Harker-Holloway gold play in Ontario.

Frankfield Explorations failed to maintain ground gained just two weeks ago. The issue dipped back to 25 cents -35 cents from 48 cents . A new management group, The Northern Miner is told, is moving in with a financing and a property.
