COATS Trading Features (March 28, 1988)

Tarzan Gold was the volume leader for another week on coats, trading more than 260,000 shares to $1.65. The company has started a major exploration effort on a large tract of land immediately south of Inco Gold’s new Golden Pond mine in Casa Berardi, Que.

Asquith Resources was quiet at 40 cents -42 cents on news that the company had acquired an option to buy 19 claims in Tyrrell Twp., near Shiningtree, Ont. The claims include a 231-ft shaft.

Card Lake Resources pulled a good hole of 5 ft grading 0.259 oz gold per ton from its German Twp., Ont., property. The issue was 25 cents bid and 40 cents ask. Goldstake remained steady at 70 cents .

After trading over a dollar, Transgold settled down to 80 cents -90 cents on healthy volume of more than 60,000 shares. The company is one of the largest land owners in the Wawa- Goudreau area of Ontario.
