COATS Trading Features (June 20, 1988)

Transgold came back to life this week, trading more than 150,000 shares to close at 90}. Just two weeks ago, the issue was quiet at 55}. The company’s main asset is a major land position in the Wawa- Goudreau area in Ontario. Wye Resources backed off to 65} after trading to 80} last week. The company is busy with a gold play in northwestern Ontario.

Good volume was posted by Seaway Base Metals, which traded more than 200,000 shares to 32}. The company holds several claim blocks in the Gogama, Ont., area.
