COATS Trading Features (January 16, 1989)

Augdome Corp. was up slightly in moderate trading this week. Nearly 64,000 of its shares were traded in the 36 -40 range. Augdome recently launched legal proceedings in the Supreme Court of Ontario against Metalore Resources. Augdome says it was the object of an attempted illegal takeover by Metalore. The latter company is also involved in an on-going legal dispute with Ontex Resources.

Matt Berry Mines saw increased volume again this week with over 100,000 of its shares traded in the 32 -40 range, down a few cents from previous weeks. Exxeter Resources also slipped lower on moderate volume to trade in the 27 -30 range.

Young-Shannon Gold Mines saw 31,500 of its shares traded in the 70 -90 range. The company has a $300,000 exploration program under way on its gold property in Chester Twp., north of Sudbury, Ont.

Better this week at 55 -60 was Sheldon-Larder Mines, which holds a 25% net profits interest in a gold bet being explored by Armistice Mines near Larder Lake, Ont.
