Coats Trading Features (December 08, 1986)

Gateford Resources, which is drilling several holes on its large Sam son River property west of Matagami, Que., has encountered several delays due to ground problems. However, the holes which have been completed have cut a wide, brittle deformation zone. The issue traded at 50 cents -60 cents .

Canadian Gold Resources was up, trading at 50 cents -55 cents . The company has completed a 6-hole drill program on its Dik-Dik gold property near Jellico, Ont. Four holes drilled near the old workings cut gold mineralization. The best section assayed 0.22 oz gold per ton across 7 ft.

Control of Consolidated Marcus Gold Mines was sold by Wilanour Resources to a private Toronto investor. The new president B. Nixon Apple says their are no immediate plans for the company. However, resources will be pursued in the future. The issue remained quiet at 25 cents .

Boston Bay Mines, with exposure to platinum, was sideways at $3.50-$4. Hardrock Extension was also quiet at $1.10-$1.30.
