COATS (over-the-counter) Black Gregor active (December 18, 1989)

McNickel Inc. shed a nickel this week after the release of a geological reserve figure that indicates that the company’s copper-nickel deposit at Lac St. Jean, Que., is uneconomic. McNickel closed at 30 cents after 13 transactions.

Milestone Resource traded a volume of 181,743 shares to close at 23 cents , a drop of 2 cents on the week. The company has been exploring a nickel property in the Bird River area of Manitoba. Funding is being sought for additional work.

With drilling planned on a 70- claim polymetallic property in Queens Cty., N.B., Costigan Gold was unchanged at 35 cents this week. Toronto-based Conwest Exploration has a stake in Costigan Gold.

Gold Bar Resources slipped by 20 cents to close at $1.10. There were 24 transactions involving that issue. The company, controlled by Gordon Leliever, hopes to do underground exploration work on its Chester Twp. gold property in Ontario next year. No accurate tonnage or reserves figures are available yet for the prospect, where 48,669 ft in 106 holes have been drilled so far.
