COAL, URANIUM & OIL SANDS — Curator options Crowsnest

Eastfield Resources (ETF-V) has reached an agreement with International Curator Resources (IC-T) concerning exploration of the Crowsnest gold property in southeastern British Columbia.

Curator can initially earn a half-interest by spending $1.6 million on exploration and making cash payments totalling $250,000 over four years. The company can elect to earn an additional 25% interest by paying Eastfield a further $250,000 and incurring an additional $2 million in exploration expenditures within two years of earning the initial half-interest.

The Crowsnest property comprises 101 claims and is situated about 50 km southeast of Fernie, B.C. The property is underlain by a series of syenite intrusions that have been emplaced in sedimentary rocks. Mineralized rubble consisting of syenite intrusives and breccia is found in several well-defined gold geochemical anomalies. Thirty-five grab samples of mineralized float from the B grid anomaly, which extends over a 1,000-by-250-metre area, average 8 grams gold per tonne and run as high as 66 grams.

An initial $250,000 exploration program will begin as soon as snow conditions allow. The work will consist of geophysics and trenching.
