Clarification (April 12, 1993)

The Eskay Creek deposit, north of Stewart, B.C., has diluted (by about 27%) reserves of 1.08 million tonnes grading 65.5 grams (2.10 oz.) gold and 2,930 grams (94.2 oz.) silver per tonne, plus 5.7% zinc, 0.77% copper and 2.89% lead. The deposit has a high-grade core containing 40% of the total precious metals, yet only 25% of the tonnage (about 250,000 tonnes grading more than 5 oz. gold equivalent per ton). These metric tonnages and grades are more exact than those reported earlier (T.N.M., Mar. 8/93).
