Claimstaker stakes in Toodoggone

A group of claims totalling 56 units have been staked in the Toodoggone region of north-central British Columbia by Claimstaker Resources (VSE). The claims are immediately adjacent and to the south of the South Kemess property where a large porphyry copper-gold deposit is being outlined. El Condor Resources and Kennecott, in a 60-40 joint venture, are earning a 60% interest in the South Kemess property from St. Philips Resources.

Claimstaker notes that its Att claims appear to be underlain by an extension of the same rocks hosting the South Kemess.

Richard Somerville, company secretary, said Claimstaker has been talking with a number of groups regarding a farm-out agreement on the property.

Claimstaker has about two million shares outstanding, about $85,000 in working capital, and was last trading at the 18 cents level.
