CIMM symposium

The Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy will hold its 4th mineral economics symposium in Vancouver Nov 11-13 with the theme Managing for Strategic Advantage.

The symposium will draw on the expertise of a number of highly regarded professionals from Canada as well as from Australia, North America, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom.

A wide range of subjects will be covered with the initial focus on the industry’s current operating environment and on its response to date. The emphasis will then shift to a discussion of strategic measures the industry can take to position itself to meet future challenges and also to take advantage of new opportunities.
