CIM receives $3,500 in grant

A grant of $3,500 goes to the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum’s Mineral Economics Society, says Ontario’s Northern Development and Mines Minister Shelley Martel.

“The society supports funding scholarly work and discussion groups held in Toronto,” she adds. “It is raising money needed to fund a chair in mineral economics at a Canadian university.”
