Joseph Mazur will be the guest speaker at a luncheon Sept. 26 hosted by the Toronto branch of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
Mazur is vice-president of administration and communications for Battle Mountain Gold Battle Mountain Gold will be the topic of his speech. The company has grown since 1985 from a 1-mine gold producer with 1.5 million oz. of reserves to an international company with six operating mines and more than seven million oz. of reserves.
The luncheon will begin at 12:30 p.m. following a half-hour reception in the ballroom at the Royal York Hotel. Reservations with the CIM are required at least 24 hours in advance to avoid extra charges. /
