Exploration work is intensifying on La Salle, a gold property in Venezuela.
Having already trenched one anomaly, partners Chesbar Resources (ME) and VenCan Gold (ME) have announced results from trenching on the North zone geochemical anomaly.
Two trenches, known as DL1 and DL2, were carried out.
DL1 west averaged 0.66 grams gold per tonne over 12 metres while DL1 east ran 6.49 grams over 48 metres, including a section that averaged 15.53 grams over 18 metres. All samples are uncut.
DL2 assayed 0.79 grams gold over 15 metres in the western part and 1.12 grams over 24 metres in the east.
A grid is being cut north of the North zone, as the anomaly remains open in that direction. After gaining title to two concessions to the north, the partners intend to complete geochemical surveying on this grid in preparation for more trenching.
