Diamond drilling on the Bouroum concession in Burkina Faso, West Africa, is confirming previous reverse-circulation drilling and extending mineralization to depth.
Channel Resources (CHU-V) reports that drilling on the F-12 zone returned 58 metres grading 3.19 grams gold per tonne in hole 2, and 2 metres grading 50.96 grams gold plus 44 metres grading 3.11 grams gold in hole 3. Downdip drilling on the F-12 zone also returned gold intervals, extending the mineralized zone as deep as 252 metres.
Results from deeper drilling include a 10-metre intersection in hole 4 grading 2.78 grams gold, 44 metres grading 3.6 grams gold in hole FB-176, and 4 metres grading 2.8 grams plus 10 metres of 1.77 grams in hole FB-177. The F-12 zone remains open to expansion at depth. Additional results are pending.
