Cdn.-United Minerals completes drilling

A 14,000-ft drilling program has been completed by Canadian-United Minerals (VSE) on its Fireweed polymetallic prospect located 10 miles north of Granisle in central British Columbia.

Initial assays include a 13-ft intersection grading 18.89 oz silver per ton, 1.01% lead and 2.11% zinc. Another hole, drilled 163 ft to the west of the this, encountered 42.25 ft of mineralization averaging 17.7 oz silver, 1.79% lead and 3.07% zinc.
