Cazador to drill Hanson Lake anomaly

A 5-hole diamond drilling program is being planned by Cazador Explorations (VSE) for its Hanson Lake property near Burns Lake, B.C. The 30,000-acre property covers a large polymetallic soil geochemical anomaly that is believed to be one of the largest in Canada. The 2,400-ft. drill program will be directed to determine the downward extension of surface mineralization at or near trenched discoveries in the Bysouth zone and Cyr zone.

Earlier this year, Cazador reported that trenching over 240 ft. in the Bysouth zone area returned an average grade of 0.3% copper and 0.01 oz. gold within the central portion of a newly discovered, large copper anomaly. The Cyr zone is 3.5 km east of the Bysouth zone.

The company is now working to complete a private placement financing to fund the drill program and to provide working capital. The property is accessible by road; rail and power services are all 18 km south of Hanson Lake at the mining community of Endako.
