CaribGold outlines resource in Cuba

Drilling on the Camaguey concession in Cuba indicates to CaribGold Resources (CG-T) that its Beatriz prospect contains a geological resource of 1.1 million tonnes grading 4.73 grams gold per tonne.

The Beatriz zone, a flat-lying, near-surface structure potentially amenable to open-pit mining, remains open along strike and at depth.

CaribGold also received results from its South Elena prospect, 700 metres southwest of the Beatriz vein. Of eight holes drilled, four returned gold values ranging from 0.99 gram over 13.2 metres to 4.33 grams over 5.2 metres.

In January, Caribgold will resume drilling to expand resources at Beatriz, evaluate the potential at South Elena and test new targets.
