Mine Superintendent

Our client is a major international mining company. They have an immediate need for a seasoned Mine Superintendent for a mine site in Ontario, Canada.

The underground mining method is established; the opportunity is technically challenging. To successfully run the show, you must have the right combination of experience and top-notch technical knowledge, coupled with excellent planning, organizational and people skills.

The successful candidate will have a degree in mining engineering and 10-15 years solid and varied experience in underground mining, preferably including a background at the mine superintendent level.

Senior Process/Metallurgical Engineer

Reporting to the Superintendent, Processing, the successful candidate will manage development projects in the process plant, conduct process optimization and evaluation tests, resolve technical problems, and conduct feasibility studies.

As a key member of our coal-quality team, you will have 8 to 10 years of mineral processing/metallurgical experience with a degree in process or metallurgical engineering. You are a team player with strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills. Consideration will be given to individuals with experience in the area of quality assurance.

Runge Mining

Runge Mining is one of Australia’s largest specialized mining consulting firms involved in mine planning consulting, financial modeling, technical training, mining software. We have an extensive client base throughout Austral-Asia, Africa, and North America.

We are seeking a consultant to be located in Calgary-Canada. This is a new branch office currently consisting of a team of two people. After an initial training period the successful applicant will have the opportunity to take part in the growth and management of a new business in providing Runge Mining’s services to the North American mining industry.

The person must be a self starter with excellent professional communication skills. The person must have 5 years experience in mine planning and proven credibility with mine operations personnel. Qualifications in a business related discipline and experience in budget preparation or economic analysis would be highly regarded. Regular travel to clients located in North America to carry out consulting, marketing, software installations and training will be required.
