Canmine to drill Fer property

Drilling on Canmine Resources’ (CDN) Fer property northeast of Flin Flon, Man., is scheduled to resume in August.

Canmine will focus on the Spruce and Yak zones where previous drilling to a maximum depth of 160 ft. intersected copper, zinc, gold and silver mineralization. Notable intersections include 5 ft. grading 0.16 oz. gold and 3.9 oz. silver per ton and 3 ft. grading 5.3% zinc and 0.25% copper in the Yak zone and 5.8 ft. at 1.28% copper and 0.1 oz. gold in the Spruce zone. Canmine says the Spruce and Yak zones appear to be on the same stratigraphic horizon as the Fer zone, where multiple lenses of polymetallic massive sulphides were intersected earlier this year.
