An exploration program by Cancor Mines (KCR-M) has identified a zinc-mineralized massive sulphide zone at the Gemini project in the Abitibi region of Quebec.
Based on partial assay results obtained to date, drilling has returned average grades of 12.29% zinc, 0.19% copper and 2.29% lead, as well as 208.16 grams silver and 1.15 grams gold per tonne, over 8.76 metres. Holes drilled south of the discovery intersected lower-grade sulphide mineralization.
Cancor can earn a 50% interest in the Gemini property from owner Inco (n-t) by spending $1.4 million on exploration.
