Canasil starts exploration work at Toodoggone

A phase one exploration program has begun on Canasil Resources’ Toodoggone area property north of Smithers, B.C. Work will include the evaluation of a breccia zone where anomalous gold and silver values were reported in the past. Geophysical and geochemical surveys are planned on possible extensions to the known breccia zone. The second phase program will include backhoe trenching followed by drilling later this year. Canasil and Cyprus Metals (Canada) signed a joint venture agreement for the property earlier this month. Cyprus has an option to earn an undivided 50% interest by incurring exploration expenditures of $1 million by Dec 31, 1989, and $300,000 of this must be spent this year.
