Canalaska starts drill program

An 18,000- ft. drill program by Canalaska Resources (VSE) is about to begin on the company’s 100% owned Rainbow Hill property in the Valdez Creek Mining district of Alaska. The objective of the reverse circulation and diamond drill program is to start blocking out reserves in the TMC zone. The company sees potential to prove up several million tons grading 0.25-0.5 oz. gold per ton, with the mineralization open in all directions.

Canalaska is also planning an IP geophysical program to delineate trenching and drill targets on a number of other prospects on the property, which is accessible by road. This year’s work program will also include some metallurgical testing of samples collected from the TMC zone.
