CanAlaska enters Otish Mountains foray

In an effort to turn up targets for ground follow-up work, Harry Barr’s CanAlaska Ventures (CVV-V) has been flying magnetic geophysical surveys over its main holdings in the Otish Mountains area of Quebec.

In January, CanAlaska acquired an option on a small group of properties covering a total of 154 sq. km. The Vancouver-based junior can acquire these properties outright by issuing 200,000 shares and paying privately held Artik Geoscience a 10% commission, up to a maximum of $250,000.

Artik will also receive a $25,000 bonus if kimberlite is discovered and an additional $50,000 if it proves to be diamond-bearing.
