The Canadian Mining Hall of Fame is inducting three new members: versatile mining executive Mike Muzylowski, metallurgical innovator Bert Wasmund, and diamond explorer and miner John T. Williamson.

The 23rd annual induction ceremony and dinner will take place on Thurs., Jan. 13, 2011, at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto, with a reception starting at 5:30 pm and dinner getting underway at 6:30 pm.
To book a table of ten or individual places, see www.mininghalloffame.ca for details. Tickets are $200 per person until Dec. 15, and $225 per person afterwards. The last day for making reservations is Thurs., Jan. 6, 2011.
The Royal York is also setting aside some rooms for ceremony attendees at $189 per night, but reservations need to made before Dec. 13.
