Canadian Arrow explores in Ontario

Canadian Arrow Mines (CDN) is exploring two of its Ontario properties for gold mineralization.

On the Hislop property, near Timmins, Ont., the company is evaluating results from an induced-polarization survey.

The property includes an open-pit mine, past production from which totalled 276,000 tons grading 0.054 oz. gold per ton. Previous drilling of the projected down-plunge extension returned true-width intersections varying from 0.115 oz. per ton over 35 ft. to 0.082 oz. over 75 ft.

At its Dogpaw Lake property, near Kenora, Ont., Canadian Arrow is stripping and sampling a gold-bearing zone. A bulk sample will be extracted and processed early in 1996.
